The South Glens Falls Fire Company Inc. operates 10 pieces of apparatus and three boats out of two fire stations. Station No. 1, located in the Village of South Glens Falls houses the Villages engine (Engine 582) as well as the companies Engine Ladder 584, Engine Rescue 586 and Forestry 604. Station No. 2, located in the Town of Moreau on State Route 197 approximately three-quarters of a mile from State Route 9 houses the companies Utility 585, Rescue 588, Tanker 601, Engine Rescue 602, M 603, three inflatable boats for Water/Dive Rescue and Utility 606.
