The South Glens Falls Fire Company is located in Saratoga County NY. This company provides fire protection to the Village of South Glens Falls and the Town of Moreau as well as Water Rescue services for the Hudson River and Moreau Lake. The district is approximately 52 square miles extending from Wilton, north to Glens Falls, and Corinth, east to Fort Edward and Hudson Falls. The South Glens Falls Fire Company also provides Fire Prevention classes to each of the three elementary schools and four daycare centers located within the district.
The South Glens Falls Fire Company houses its 8 apparatus and 2 boats in two stations. Station #1 is located in the Village of South Glens Falls, under the blue water tower on Saratoga Avenue. Station #2 is located in the Town of Moreau on State Route 197 approximately 1.5 miles from the intersection of State Route 9.
