August 1930 - The Glen Hose Company No. 1 and the J.S. White Hose Company No. 2 dissolve and their 62 members form the South Glens Falls Fire Company Inc. These members were equipped with a 1923 REO Chemical Truck, their first meeting was chaired by Fireman Pop Purdell, and the first banquet was served at Fitzgerald's located on Glen Street Hill.
September 4th 1936 - One hundred of the two hundred dollar contract with the Village of South Glens Falls was used to pay doctors bills. Underwriting injuries was a large expense at this time.
December 7 1936 - Company approved a banquet at Fitzgerald's Hotel to be held on January 9 1937. Total cost for this banquet was one hundred and ten dollars.
April 3 1939 - A 1931 Cadillac Squad Car was purchased for one hundred and fifty-six dollars.
October 6 1939 - Company joins the Hudson Valley Volunteer Fireman's Association.
February 6 1940 - First contract with the Town of Moreau signed. Budget was four hundred dollars. Company also approved the purchase of a new squad car to answer alarms outside the Village of South Glens Falls.
April 7 1941 - First regulation Uniforms were purchased from Henry J. Heckel Uniform Company for twenty two dollars and sixty-five cents.
July 13 1942 - The Town of Moreau approved a two thousand dollar annual contract so the company could purchase a new apparatus.
August 6 1945 - A 1945 Mack pumper was purchased for five thousand and five dollars. This pumper is still owned by the company and is known as "Little Mack"

1950 - Aust Theatre Fire
January 1953 - The Village of South Glens Falls purchased a 1953 pumper, complete with a 750 GPM pump.
1957 - Saratoga Hospital Fire
1963 - Crandall Block Fire, Glens Falls
1964 - Killian Farm Fire
1966 - Company purchased a 1966 Mack Conventional Cab pumper for twenty-eight thousand dollars, as well as a 1960 Mack for twenty-two thousand five hundred dollars.
1969 - Patrician Mill Fire
1971 - Company accepted it's first members living in the Town of Moreau.
1973 - Company adds a second station located on State Route 197 (Reynolds Road) in the Town of Moreau. This land was donated by William and Elsie Congdon.
1977 - Company purchased a 1977 Mack pumper for ninety-seven thousand dollars. The South Glens Falls Fire Company was also purchased the Hurst "Jaws of Life" this year, and were the first company in the area to do so.

April 28 1977 - Hurst "Jaws of Life" used for the first time.
1980 - 50th Anniversary of the South Glens Falls Fire Company Inc. An open house and large parade were held.
